Lilac Retreat was very comfortable, peaceful and had activities to enjoy. The hosts have provided a well-stocked kitchen (pots/pans/dishes), activities (ping pong, kayaks, fire pit, comfortable outdoor seating, etc), and comfortable furniture. Totally enjoyed watching the sun rise and playing games in this comfortable house. The lake was amazingly clear to see fish and turtles swimming around. Recommend this location for fun family time on a lake.
Great place for a family trip! The home is extremely comfortable and great for hosting groups. The kids play area inside and the jungle gym were great for our kids. This place is huge which made it very comfortable. It is fully stocked and had everything we needed and more. The sauna, pickleball court, peddle boat, fire pit, etc. kept us entertained the whole weekend. You really never need to go anywhere, but St. Joseph has some great stops and is super close by.
